Link to Veterans Day information November 11, 2014   World War I began a century ago in Europe. Frank Buckles, the last living American WWI Veteran, died in 2011 at the age of 110. It was the sacrifice of he and of his fellow service members that inspired the holiday. Originally known as Armistice Day to honor the living veterans of the First World War, Veterans Day has transformed into a national holiday of remembrance and recognition of all those who served, regardless of branch or duty status, Reserve or active component, of service members of all eras.

Due to the enormous system resources required to process the GS pay adjustments, DCPDS will be unavailable from 0600 CST on Friday, 10 January 2014 through Sunday, 12 January 2014. It should become available again by start of business Monday, 13 January. Users will be kept informed if there are any changes. If an emergency arises, contact your Servicing Personnel Advisory Center.
