MEMORANDUM FOR: SEE DISTRIBUTION
SUBJECT: TRAIN Database Cleanup Guide
The enclosed guide has been prepared by my staff to assist users in cleaning and maintaining
the TRAIN database. Maintaining a clean TRAIN database can facilitate the processing of actions,
improve system response times and help prepare installations for the conversion of training
records into the modern system.
TRAIN configuration requires users at all levels to maintain their in-box.
This guide is written to enable TRAIN users to clean/maintain data for which they are responsible.
Presently more than 5,000 actions are partially processed in the system.
This guide is now available on Civilian Personnel Online
I encourage you to market this new tool to TRAIN users and ask for your support in establishing
and maintaining a clean TRAIN database.
The point of contact in my office is John Heath, DSN 221/COMM (703) 325-1342;
