CHAPTER 3

		     PHYSICAL SECURITY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT

			       RESPONSIBILITIES

		       ACTIVITY CAREER PROGRAM MANAGERS

ACPMs will serve as the CP-19 focal point at their activity or
installation. They will:

    (1)  Publicize training opportunities and career management information
to careerists and potential careerists;

    (2)  Counsel supervisors and CP-19 careerists on training and development
opportunities and requirements;

    (3)  Evaluate, when requested by supervisors, training, experience,
self-development and education of careerists to determine obtainment
of competencies required by the ACTEDS plan;

    (4)  Seek mentors for interns, approve their Individual Development
Plans (IDPs) and monitor their training.

    (5)  Represent the installation or activity on CP-19 issues;

    (6)  Assist the MACOM in training and career management projects,
as requested; and

    (7)  Encourage and assist careerists with their registration and
currency in DACADS.
