Commander's Award for Public Service

The Commander's Award for Public Service is the fourth highest public service honorary award that may be granted to a private citizen.

Eligibility:

• 
  Any individual is eligible for this award, except for those Army civilian employees who are eligible for Army honorary awards, military personnel, or Army contractors.

Criteria:

• This award is given to recognize service or achievements that contribute significantly to the accomplishment of the mission of an Army activity, command, or staff agency.
