SUBJECT: NAF UNION PROPOSALS AFFECTING WAGES OR BENEFITS

1. DUE TO THE SUPREME COURT DECISION IN THE FORT STEWART CASE,
WHICH FOUND WAGES AND BENEFITS NOT BASED IN LAW TO BE NEGOTIABLE,
THE ARMY IS REVIEWING ALL UNION INITIATED WAGE AND BENEFIT
COLLECTIVE BARGAINING PROPOSALS.

2. COPIES OF ALL UNION INITIATED NAFE WAGE AND BENEFIT PROPOSALS
ARE TO BE PROVIDED TO CFSC-HR-P {ATTN: MEDINA} AS SOON AS THEY ARE
RECEIVED BY THE MANAGEMENT NEGOTIATING TEAM. PROPOSALS WILL BE
REVIEWED BY A JOINT MILITARY SERVICES COORDINATING COMITTEE TO
ENSURE CONSISTENCY AND DEFENSIBILITY OF MANAGEMENT RESPONSES
ACROSS DOD AND DETERMINE FUTURE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS WITHIN
