SUBJECT: PLACEMENT OF NONAPPROPRIATED FUND (NAF) CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ASSISTANT EMPLOYEES
1. IN COMPLIANCE WITH DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE GUIDELINES, ARMY
POLICY REQUIRES THAT ONCE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS HAVE BEEN MET AND PERFORMANCE HAS BEEN JUDGED TO BE SATISFACTORY, THE EMPLOYEE WILL BE ADVANCED TO THE TARGET LEVEL NON-COMPETITIVELY WITHIN TWO PAY PERIODS OF MEETING ALL REQUIREMENTS. THEREFORE, AN EMPLOYEE BEING REINSTATED, REEMPLOYED, OR TRANSFERRED TO A CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ASSISTANT POSITION WILL BE PLACED AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL FOR WHICH THE EMPLOYEE QUALIFIES.
2. CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ASSISTANT POSITIONS INCLUDE;
- CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ASSISTANT (ENTRY)
- CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ASSISTANT (INTERMEDIATE)
- CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ASSISTANT (FULL PERFORMANCE)
