Issuance of the Updated Civilian Human Resources (CHR)
Integrated Definition (IDEF)/Model Task Listings, Version 1.2
Reference memorandum, October 20, 2003, subject: Issuance of the Updated Civilian Human Resources (CHR) Integrated Definition/Model Task Listings (IDEF).
The IDEF has undergone a comprehensive update with the assistance of the US Army Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA). The revised IDEF, Version 1.2, reflects recent changes in legislation and policy; organizational structures and relationships; and adds, for the first time, IDEF task listings unique to the respective Local National work force. The entire IDEF can be viewed at http://cpol.army.mil/library/general/idef, with the Version 1.2 changes highlighted in Violet color for ease in reviewing.
Assignment of work and business processes are required to be in accordance with this current IDEF. The IDEF is intended, however, to be a living document, given the dynamic and varied environments in which Army CHR operations take place. To ensure revisions are in accordance with established resourcing and servicing agreements, all exceptions, variations, and/or changes must be requested through appropriate command and/or management channels, routed through CHRA for concurrence if appropriate, and staffed and approved by the Assistant G-1 for Civilian Personnel Policy. A Request for IDEF Change and a Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), have been specifically designed to standardize any future proposed change request.
