2010 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey Conducted by
the US Office of Personnel Management - Army and DoD Results
Last year, OPM administered the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (the FedView), formerly the Federal Human Capital Survey, to Federal Departments and Agencies across the government. The survey is a tool that has been used since 2002 to measure Federal employees' perceptions, work experiences, and organizational environments as part of an overall organizational assessment.
The FedView survey results are used to drive positive change, meet legislative reporting requirements and develop program metrics for management/leadership effectiveness, performance management, work/life, wellness, employee engagement, budget, and strategic communications programs. These elements directly influence our employee's level of satisfaction, commitment, and retention.
